Frequently asked questions
Is the content actually removed?
Yes. Original pixels in confirmed regions are replaced. Every page is written as an image into a new PDF. Original objects are not copied; structural and visual checks must pass.
Does it work with scans?
You can mark scans manually. Without a usable text layer, automatic detection is not reliable. This tool does not perform OCR.
Why might download remain blocked?
Only a fully verified result is downloadable. Failures or incomplete evidence block download. Encrypted and signed PDFs are declined; large or complex files may exceed local limits.
